DEBORAH (SHANKLAND) GARRETT

1951-2016

Mrs. Deborah "Suzi' Garrett, 65, of Woodstock, GA passed away October 3, 2016. Suzi was born in Ohio on September 19,1951 to the late Harold and Angie Shankland. 

She is a graduate of Triway High School. Before becoming a Hair Stylist, Suzi worked at a bank.  Toward the end of her career, she worked at The Salon on Canton Street in Roswell, GA.

She had a passion for music and was a member of the Song of Atlanta Show Chorus. Suzi also loved to read.  She was very positive and uplifting. Suzi had a very kind soul. She was a very loving and devoted mother, grandmother and friend.  She will be immensely missed by many.

Suzi leaves behind her son, Charles Garrett, daughter, Cassie Garrett Michael, grandchildren, AJ Michael, Sadie Michael and Maggie Garrett, brother, Hal Shankland and sister Gloria. 

A celebration of Suzi's life will be on Saturday, October 8, 2016 at 6:00 pm in the chapel of Woodstock Funeral Home.  A reception will follow the service.
