Darwin Young

1952-2011

Darwin L. Young, 59, of Wooster, died Friday, Sept. 16, 2011, at his residence. A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date.  Roberts Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.  Online tributes may be made at www.RobertsFuneralHome.com. Dar was born April 2, 1952, in Wooster to Franklin D. and Wanda F. (Hopper) Young.  He graduated from Triway High School in 1970. He married Debra Baker on July 23, 1988. She survives. Dar worked at Magni-Power Company in various positions, ending as the Assistant Safety Director.

He enjoyed reading, woodworking and spending time with his family.  He was an avid Cleveland Browns fan.

Dar will be deeply missed by his wife, Debbie; children, Lee, Katherine (Aaron Miller) and Jason Young; a grandson, Austin Martin; sister, Brenda (Alan) Brierly; nieces, April Williams (Marquist Herndon), Nena Brierly, and Amanda Brierly; great-nephew, Pharaoh; and a great neice, Phoebe.  Dar was preceded in death by his parents.
