Growing up Harry and I were always seated together at school (M&M) in Shreve and played baseball with him in the summers--Harry being a crafty left handed pitcher. I also remember picking blue berries at a local farm with Harry. I think we threw more at each other than we packed. We rode bicyles around alot and were chased by many farm dogs on the backroads of Shreve. Harry was always a lot of fun and we were always on the edge of trouble it seemed. I was looking forward to seening him at the reunion, a great friend.
Since Harry and I lived close we became friends. We would get together and hunt, pick apples, just hang out or even chauffeur one another to an event. Harry was a quiet good guy. Like Chuck I was hoping to see him at our next class reunion.
